Natural deer repellent containing sheep fat for use in forestry and tree nurseries.
Description
Trico is a foliar applied repellent that works by smell for control of browsing, fraying and debarking of deciduous and coniferous trees by deer.
Trico is a completely harmless smell and taste deterrent based on emulsified sheep fat which deer will avoid as they find the smell and taste totally unappetising. It is approved for use as a deer repellent by the British Deer Society.
Trico has been proven to give highly effective protection to trees, garden plants and agricultural crops against browsing. It has the advantage over other repellents on the market in that it has good rainfastness and is visible, thus providing effective protection against game damage during both the summer and winter. It is a ready-to-use spray. The product’s efficacy has been proven in over 70 field trials and nearly 20 years of commercial use. Trico is registered in 21 European countries and is considered the gold standard deer repellent.
Please note, Trico contains a white dye. This enables spray operators spraying over large areas to see where they have sprayed.
Rate: 20L/Ha once per year.
