Residual herbicide for the control of a wide range of weeds in potatoes
Description
Shotput is a residual herbicide for use on defined varieties of potatoes.
Maincrop potato varieties can be sprayed pre-emergence.
Post emergence applications can be made to most Maincrop varieties (check list) but not after most advanced shoots have reached 15 cms in length.
Early potatoes – pre-emergence only.
Controls a wide range of weeds, excluding cleavers and black night shade.
Note: Due to the persistency of this chemical in the soil, brassica crops should not be sown in the same year after Shotput has been applied.
